Why does my iPad have a way better WiFi connection than my iPhone?

Report as

This could be due to the iPad having a better processor with in turn makes it faster to download web pages to your iPad.

Is it at home this happens? If so is your iPhone connected to your home wifi?

i was going to say exactly what maa107 said...what iphone do you have and what ipad do you have? the new iPad (second release) and iPhone 5 both have the A6 chip (fastest). i think the 4s and the new iPad (first release) both had the A5X chip which is still decent, but slower

ah k. which iPad though? i have an iPad 2 wifi only running 6.1.2 firmware and an iPhone 4s as well.

The only thing i can suggest is test your iPad speeds in your lounge/living. it receives 5GHz from memory to iPhones 2.4GHz. 5GHz i believe is faster, but 2.4GHz travels a further distance. So you lose speed, but you gain more coverage. I'm just working off personal experience with my gadgets so don't hold me to it haha but i hope that helps.

http://anyweb.info or http://onlinechoices.info depends maybe on the location, or the signal.. or the network.
