Can you believe that evil exists in this world without believing that God exists also.

It seems to me that you can't have one without the other.

Of course you can. Morality and ethics are not based on the idea of gods nor are they reliant on them. And contrary to what many theists think, there are actually secular ethical philosophies which believe in objective morality.

Most people do not believe that evil exists in this world without believing that God exists also. This is because God is said to be supreme, omniscient and omnibenevolent. At times this brings a lot of argument among many people.

I was raised Catholic. That's what the concept of original sin means.

There is no evidence your Jesus existed, much less any of the rest of that, nor that your god exists. And as per your Scriptures, claiming your god loves anyone when he required obeisance and a blood sacrifice in order to forgive you for the crime of being human because a dirt man and a rib woman ate a magic fruit given to them by a talking snake? Ridiculous.

Nope. You have your facts wrong, and there is nothing I can do about it. There is a God, Three Persons in One God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus, Son of God, died for you, and on the cross he thought about you. The proof is in your heart.

Hm. Read the bible, there's plenty of proof in there. And if what you say is true, how did you and I come to be? All the other religions fell apart. Because were wrong. The Catholic Church is still here even after many persecutions. Because we are right. And go talk to some people with the Stigmata or people who've seen or been given a miracle. Our Lady made the sun dance in in front of thousands in 1913, read about it.

Read the bible- it's why I'm no longer Christian. It's filled with historical and scientific errors, contradictions, superstitious nonsense, and questionable ethics.
There is no proof there- only examples of what a primitive people believed.

Funny, but all other religions have not fallen apart. Hinduism, for example, has been around for millennia before the Hebrew people even existed. And your claims of "miracles" are just unsubstantiated tales of uneducated, superstitious people.

Every religion makes the same claims as you- every last one. None of you have evidence to support your claims.

There can be good and evil without a belief in god.
There will always be those, who take joy from helping others, and there will always be their counterparts, taking joy in other's misfortune.

Yes, you can actually. All the belief in god does is give reassurance to the believer that no deed will go unpunished. You can believe that evil exists without the idea of god.

And conversely, existing facts which one chooses not to believe doesn't make those facts any less true. Belief or non-belief only establishes what one accepts, not whether something is accurate.
