Why was ICC renamed?

Report as

The ICC was renamed because the game was played imperially before it went international. The ICC was responsible for the regulation of cricket throughout the world fondly dominated by the member from 2 countries Australia and England and Australia. With the disappearance of British Empire the veto rights were abolished and equal membership to other cricketing countries was introduced. Therefore, the name of Imperial Cricket Conference later became International Cricket Conference.
