what is older NYC or Philadelphia?

New York City is older than Philadelphia. This is because NYC was settled and established during the 17th century whereas Philadelphia was first settled approximately in the year 1804.

THIS IS INCREDIBLY WRONG! How could Philadelphia be settled in the 18 hundreds if the Declaration of Independence and the constitution were formed there in the 1770s-1780s?
