How do you set the site on a Horton crossbow scope 4x32 ss047?

Report as

Hi, gwd. I would tell you, but I'm afraid you're going to go out and shoot an innocent animal with it. I don't know why I might be getting that idea.

No, gwd, in all honesty (and I'm really not being smart or ugly here because I truly, truly don't understand or believe in hunting unless you're out in the middle of nowhere and that's the only way you can get your food) how can you (I mean hunters in general) kill innocent animals in such violent ways? I'm sure I won't understand, but I would like to hear what you have to say. I don't argue with people..just wanted to hear your side. You believe as you do and I believe as I do.

Then keep out of hunting/gun/bow/crossbow questions. You would not be here today if someone in your family didn't hunt and kill.

Now for your answer. Some hunt to save money on food. A steak is say $3.00 a pound. A bullet which can get you say 90 pounds of meat is about $1.50. Some hunt cause that's the only meat they will eat and don't want to buy store bought meat. Some hunt to get back to nature and tradition. We all hunt and keep the various animal populations healthy. Overpopulation cause food shortage and starvation and Mother Nature controls with diseases, some of which are transferable to humans. So us hunters also keep people healthy to. I'm varmint hunter. I keep the predators under control, save ranchers thousands of dollars cause the coyote I shot ain't gonna kill their cattle before they go to market. And most of all cause its one of the freedoms I enjoy.

Mr. Hunter, the trouble with you is that you lack the power of conversation but not the power of speech. I hate that we're not still strangers. You're a very rude person. What I said, I said to the person who asked this question - not you. What I asked, I asked for a personal answer from the person who asked this question - not you. He hasn't even made a comment, much less a rude one. Maybe you came from neanderthals, but I got here because mom and dad got together, not because even my grandparents or great-grandparents hunted. They may have done that, but that's not how or why I'm here. Is it time for your medication or do you need to reread an article on "Where Babies Come From?" I suggest you do not stick your nose in someone else's business, especially when I was sincerely asking SOMEONE ELSE a question. Now, from what I've seen, you're probably one of those that has to have the last word, so after I've said this, you may have the floor because I don't waste my time arguing with people. I pick my battles. But this is the last thing I have to say especially to you. I will never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

And he asked a sighting question and you jumped in like a typical bunny hugger, so your as rude as I.

Well, this Bunny Hugger will respond one more time because I simply don't think your IQ can comprehend what I'm saying, plus the fact that I don't argue with idiots. I'm not going to let you bring me down to your level of experience in being one. I do hate I can't s.a.y. t.h.i.s. s.l.o.w.e.r. f.o.r. y.o.u.
My intention was not to answer his question. I wanted to ask HIM - not YOU (let me say that ONE MORE TIME), I wanted to ask HIM - not YOU why HE feels the way HE does. I never asked nor do I CARE how YOU feel. Now, if you can't comprehend what I'm saying, don't see the humor in that, and find it hard to laugh at yourself, I would be happy to do it for you. -Bunny Hugger :-)

You wanted to know about hunting, and yes you asked him and I answered. I guarantee I been hunting longer and he's a beginner, maybe even a teenager. You saw scope and assumed he wanted to kill animals. I know a guy that has more rifles than I do, with scopes on all of them. Reloading equipment for all his rifles and only shoots targets with no intrest in hunting, assuming is bad. Now, since my intelligence is higher than the average joe, I will apologize to you for doing the exact same thing you did. I will continue this conversation if you come back with the respect a gentleman should show.

Alright, Mr. Hunter, although I'm unsure of your sincerity in this because, as you can see by my picture, I'm not a "gentleman" and by trusting people all the time, I ALWAYS get hurt. But I guess I'll take the chance once more. However, if I apologized for "assuming" anything, it would need to be to him, not you, but he never said anything at all to me. I will, however, apologize to you for letting you get to me and showing the very possible worst side of me there is. I should have just walked away. I really don't know what else we have to talk about. You believe in hunting and I don't. (Now before you have anything else harsh to say to me, I want to tell you I have tears streaming down my face over this. I don't normally act like that, plus I love animals so very much. And anything I say, there is absolutely no sarcasm in my tone at all. It's just me baring my heart.) Do hunters go out there and kill the poor, helpless starving animals that aren't going to make it anyway? I've honestly never heard of it. They go after the big 10-point buck. Plus, some of those hunters are not like you. No telling how many times they have to shoot that animal to actually kill it. I think of the suffering it goes through. If you put one bullet through its head and it knows nothing, that's a different story. If people eat the meat, then that's a little better. If people HAVE to hunt to eat, I can understand that. It's hunting for sport that I don't understand. But, then again, I'm no Sarah Palin and it's just how I feel in my heart that I have no opened up for you to do whatever it is you're going to do to it.

I think it's best we not talk about things. It is not that I see your a lady that I treat you as I do, I'd treat a nan the same. I was not being a good representative for the responsible hunters of which I am. I completely respect your right to be who you are and to feel what you want. I do not wish to upset you further.

Buy shooting the bow and removing
The two site tuning covers on the scope- only change two or three clicks at a time and shoot rapidly
To ensure a good site .
Ps- a dime fits perfectly to change the
Site screws .

Aim at center of target. Fire. How many inches up, down, left or right is the bolt from center. Dial the corrections needed on the scope to get where the bolt hit to get to center. Fire again, correct, fire again. Eventually you'll have your crossbow sighted in.

I know one thing for sure, at least you answered the young man's question! I'm a deer hunter myself! I do eat the meat and share it with my friends and family! I will start to donate meat to shelters for the homeless. I've been hunting since a child. I will continue to hunt until I die or can't pick up a weapon to hunt with! Keep being who you are "Coyote_Hunter"!!!!
