Jesus is not Michael the archangel. The Bible nowhere identifies Jesus as Michael (or any other angel, for that matter). Hebrews 1:5-8 draws a clear distinction between Jesus and the angels, "For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father'? Or again, 'I will be His Father, and He will be my Son'?" No angel is ever worshiped in Scripture; therefore, Jesus (worthy of worship) cannot be Michael or any other angel (not worthy of worship). The angels are called sons of God (Genesis 6:2-4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7), but Jesus is THE Son of God (Hebrews 1:8; Matthew 4:3-6). Michael the archangel is a powerful angel, but still only an angel. "Arch" mean "chief" or "principal," which implies that there is only one archangel, the chief angel. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 speaks of the authority of the archangel, and does so in reference to the resurrected Jesus Christ. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." (KJV) The only name directly associated with the word archangel is that of Michael.
JW's believe that Jesus is the subservient son of God, not God, they believe He is a mighty God but not the Almighty God. They have an altered bible translation they use to support their doctrine. The JW's bible says, The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call with an archangels voice...their jesus. I noticed you don't believe JW's so I won't answer as to why, you already know. They also believe the Holy Spirit is an active force (you know, like in Star Wars), not God. My sister in law fought me to the death that Jesus was not Almighty God, but that's a whole other story.lol.
A lot of what JWs believe doesnt make sense. They think only JWs are going to get to go to heaven and be with God, never mind the centuries of Christians like Paul and Peter and the rest of the disciples and Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Noah and the like who couldnt have been JW because it wasnt invented until the early 1900's or so.
Jehovah's Witnesses (officially known as the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of New York), a religious sect founded in the late 19th century by former atheist Charles Taze Russell, do not believe in the Trinity. They teach that only God the Father is truly God, and they call Him 'Jehovah'. Jesus, they claim, is not divine - He was created by Jehovah and is actually the archangel Michael. Jesus, in their view, is the first and highest of all created beings, and is actually the creator of the world. In explaining the first coming of Christ, Jehovah's witnesses explain that Michael gave up his existence as an angel by allowing God to transfer his "spirit" to earth, and thus becoming a man, Jesus Christ. They also claim that although Jesus was crucified (not on a cross but rather on an upright stake!) and rose from the dead, only His spirit - not his body - was resurrected. When His spirit ascended into heaven, Jesus reclaimed His existence as the archangel Michael. (My answer continues in the comments)

Well I believe That Jehovah created the angels before he created the earth and man, in Colossians the bible bring out that Jesus was the first born of all creation. Provers Jesus is saying that"22 Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men. 32 ?And now, O sons, listen to me; yes, happy are the ones that keep my very ways. 33 Listen to discipline and become wise, and do not show any neglect. 34 Happy is the man that is listening to me by keeping awake at my doors day by day, by watching at the posts of my entrances. 35 For the one finding me will certainly find life, and gets goodwill from Jehovah. 36 But the one missing me is doing violence to his soul; all those intensely hating me are the ones that do love death.
"But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, disputed about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a reviling judgement upon him, but said, The Lord rebuke you." Jude 9 (Living Bible) Michael means "Who Is Like God" The name evidently designates Michael as the one who takes the lead in upholding God's sovereignty and destroying Gods enemies. The name of this Michael appears only five times in the Bible. In Revelation 12:7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out of heaven in connection with the conferring of kingly power on Christ. Jesus is later depicted as leading the armies of heaven in war against the nations of the world. Rev 19:11-16.
