put colorful tape on the edge of your door so that you can't see it when it's closed, but when you open it you get a flash of color. put wrapping paper with an interesting design on the inside of a lamp shade so that when you turn it on you get a cool pattern (make sure the lamp shade is a solid color). hang christmas lights around your room. hang a string from one end of your room to another and attach clothes pins to it with pictures and post cards of places that you want to go. get brightly colored picture frames. ...that's all i can think of right now.

So recently I found the head of a rocking horse, so I cut one of the handles off and attached some wire to the back. If you hang it on the wall it can be a vag or necklace holder.
I also bought a cactus which is awesome and went to a charity shop and got some woven pictures that looks really cool. Basically I scoured charity shops for stuff I can spray paint or leave battered to create a shabby sheek kind of room.

Hi, Unicorn. You can get some really pretty votive candle and holders out there now...solid-colored ones, ones that have cutouts, ones that have different shapes of glass on the outside. I absolutely LOVE to decorate with candles. And if you have one of the stores called "The Dollar Tree" (where everything's a dollar), Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc., that kind of store, that's where to start. Also, you can get some pretty little containers and put pretty little silk flowers, pearls, or some little gemstones in them. You can take thin satin ribbon and hang small pictures from them. Just tie a bow on one end, go down several inches and then hot glue your picture or whatever onto the other end. Just leave a few inches in between. It's really beautiful. Hope something's helpful.
