You may be thinking about Itchy and Scratchy. They have toned Tom and Jerry down so much(even the originals) it's disgusting.

No they did not that would be horrible it would be like Duck Dynasty committing suicide.

That analogy doesn't work at all. Tom & Jerry are the names of a cartoon cat and cartoon mouse, and as persons, even though they're fictional, they could still commit suicide within that fictional setting. Something they really did in Blue Cat Blues. Duck Dynasty is the name of a TV-show, not a person or persons, and TV-shows can't commit suicide. The real persons the show Duck Dynasty is about can still commit suicide though, since they're people and not concepts.

Uh no I sure don't reckon so due to the show just basically being like a family show to watch and I would not think that it would dare show something like I mean if so then what kind of person would put that in the cartoon show for children to see although about it I would have to say NOOO THEY DIDN'T....

Oh.... I should of knew that considering I used to always watch that show.

Shows back then were less family like and darker

Well now they seem to make these ridiculous shows to watch and have took off some good ones just whatever is shown now on TV I guess...

Yes but it doesn't show them actually die it just implies it and they die by waiting to get ran over by a train

Yeah, they did, actually I heard the ending of a train noise coming before they've recreated the show. In 1956, the last episode was called Blue Cat Blues. Tom and Jerry was a movie for adults at first, so yeah, they've committed suicide. If you want to watch the episode here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkFGkmtZb6E

As Inglewood, Bedderdenu and SkittlesBye wrote, yes they did, although it wasn't shown, it was just implied. I've seen the cartoon myself.
