I don't think there is even such a thing as somebody being HAPPY all the time in their lives because everybody just has those days when everything seems bright and beautiful, but then it turns dark and ugly like me for instance I am mainly happy, but have my dark days when life really seems to suck and let along feeling pointless too....
As many have said, it seems unlikely that someone is happy all the time. However, if you want to be happy more often, act the way act when you are happy, even if you're not happy at the moment. The more you do this, the happier you will feel.
I have learned that it can be a learned behavior. Normally from parents. ( We tend to mimic our parents in certain ways.) Although some have been faced with major hardships, I've met some who are surprisingly positive. Once we realize how good we have it, and how sad life can be for so many with illness, poverty, no family, abuse, born with no legs or arms or...Epilepsy,Diabetes and more. It is a reminder of why a person should enjoy their days and be as helpful as you can to others even if that means holding a door for someone or saying good morning with a smile. I'm not sure what life has brought your way so far...but as we age we can experience sad things like loss and illness, enjoy what gifts you have now in your life. Ps I now suffer from Epilepsy due to a benign brain tumor, I used to think life could be hard, now I know what hard is. Although everyone has rough days.
It's rare that I'm being unhappy, and if I do, it generally doesn't last long. Beside having a positive mindset, I think it helps that I involve myself a great deal within the communities I live in, by volunteering as much as I can outside of my full time work schedule. It makes me happy to see others being happy. I also make a point every day to thank God,Lord Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, all the Saints, all the good Spirits including my ancestors, my friends and family members who look after me and provide me with peace, health and happiness in life. To me, the path to happiness is: be thankful, have tolerance, be open minded, and laugh as much as you can.
There are many ways. You should pick friends that make you happy and make you a better person. Also, be positive! Being optamistic can make you see everything in a better light so your more happy. And studies show that music can affect the way you feel. So you can try, if not already, listening to happy upbeat songs. Being greatful and reminding yourself of all the wonderful things that you already have. And just live life to the fullest!!!:) I hope I was helpful!!!
I could give you the philosophical reason, but I see people already have. So, instead, I'll say this. Nobody is constantly happy. Everyone has a bad day every once in a while and sometimes a bad week, or a bad month, or a bad year. People fake it. Some times it's the ones that look happiest.
personally, I am happy most of the time. This happened after i started watching the Mentalist! I am serious. If you just watch that show you will see what i mean. The main character is just so positive about almost anything, and my favorite line from it is jane: cheer up. Lisbon: why? Jane:Because its better to be happy then sad :)
No one is happy all the time.... But the ones who seem happier than others in life just enjoy life I guess... They try to stay positive no matter what the situation is... Just go with the flow haha..:)
A) they are using some kind of mood altering or enhancing drug (illegal or not) B) They have the time to exercise on a regular basis C) They are in a mutual relationship with religion, it makes them feel important, giving them tasks and purpose, and provides an important social outlet for them. D) They have found a balance with their work and other of lives enjoyments, most likely their work ethic has given them the oportunity to be their own boss, and they rarely slack, they are happily addicted to work, yet they socialize on occasion. E) They have sex often and/or have a balance of important chemicals (in which sex adds to the manufacture of naturally) they are as follows: testostorone (men) oxytocin and estrogen (women) dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine. F) Money...might only show temporary satisfaction in some....but its a symptom. G) They can't relate to real happiness they only appear that way, they are sociopaths! Apathetic, superficial, reptilian, a**holes.
well, i dont think it's possible to ALWAYS be happy, but it's possible to be happy a lot, and if you do want to be really happy, it helps if you find the things in life that you love (like people, hobbies, animals, music) and focus on those things, and dont pay much attention to things that upset you (like mean/ judgmental people, annoying things, bad decissions you have made in the past). When you are sad/ angry/ scared/ upset, it will only make you feel worse if you mask that with 'happieness', it's always best to let out ur emotions. ~hopethishelps :)
Hi. I have been accused of being Happy! Happy! too much by many. What I am is a person who does believe in happiness. I type that because I didn't know how to make a :) face for a long, long time. I still believe if you believe you can be happy and pass it on to others. It is good. A heck of a lot better than being Mad! Mad! or disgruntled all the time. Find something every day that makes you happy. Focus on it. Then, other things will make you feel happy too. Also, I'm a lousy typist. Happy is easier than typing mad. See. another reason to be happy. Take Care.
They make a conscious choice. They chose to look for the positive and they don't let the bad bring them down. Wake up tomorrow morning and look at things differently, the more you think positive the easier it gets. Chose happy.
