If I am learning French now would it be easier to switch to Latin or Italian?

Well, it wouldn't make you immediately skilled in either one. But due to similarities, you could pick up on the language very quickly.

Latin is soooooo much different. Definitely Italian. I take Latin now. It's not like ANYTHING I have ever heard before. I'd go with Italian if I were you.

French or Italian would be easiest but Latin is so different & would be harder

Spanish and French are the two most similar languages. Out of those choices I'd say Italian more so than Latin
