Like Fuji the best, but that probably has a lot to do with not growing up with ( northern type)Apples and since moving away from the Mainland not having much acess to 'fresh' Apples. Fuji's seem to ship well and still have crunch and flavor. What is a Honeycrisp Apple?
I would never recommend golden delicious bought in a store but in Oregon I picked some from a tree with the first snows keeping them crisp. They were the sweetest most intensely flavored crisp apples I've ever had.
I am assuming you meant type of apple rather than brand. I prefer Honey Crisp (they are grown in Oregon), but they are only available a short time of the year. I also like Granny Smiths. Hubster likes Johnagold (a cross between a Johnathan and a Golden Delicious). We have an entire town that is dedicated to apple orchards not far from where we live. If you have the chance to ever visit a working orchard, see if you can get a tour and a tasting.
