I've been dealing with knee pain for the past couple of years and I don't know why

My mom thought I had Osgood-Schlatter's, but I did the research and know it not OS. Mainly because OS is below the knee and effects the patellar ligament. My knee pain is on the sides, in front and above. Some days the pain is bearable and others I can't stand it. Any ideas of what it might be and what I can do?

Why haven't you seen a doctor yet?! Get to a specialist, that's my advice.

Besides the Osgood, knee pain can be caused by bursitis, bone chips, iliotibial band syndrome or Medial plica syndrome. This can also be caused by a dislocated knee cap and this means it is important if an orthopedic examines it to come up with a better solution.
