when I was little I only had night terrors and woke up crying and sweating I got them fro. bein way to warm and sometimes when I was ill to prevent it I used to think of happy things I know it sounds cheesy but try it I think it helps
Referencing to less than "beneficial" moments in one's life. De-stressing in ways non-toxic to oneself in the long run. Engaging in activities which accesses one's creativity while releasing anger/anxiety: exercise, art, music, poetry, writing, etc. Hope this helps.
