I accidentally swallowed a little bit of nail polish remover while I was doing my nails. That's not gonna hurt me, right?

drink a bottle of water and brush your teeth. drinking water will wash it out of your body quicker and brushing your teeth will get it off your teeth.

Instead of popping onto a random question and answer site try calling poison control. Acetone is dangerous to ingest, even a "small" amount.

don't " accidentally " do that too often. it will erode your dental enamel.

I was watching this show where a girl who was pregnant did that ALL the time and it was probably the reason of her miscarriage! If it was only a little you should visit a doctor idk

Oo, how'd you do that? A little bit won't hurt you, but it's not good for you. Bleh. Drink a lot of water from now til tonight to wash it through. You should be fine.

Depends on what you mean by "a little bit". If you did this like an hour ago, and the worst thing you're feeling is wondering whether you'll be alright or not, then you will probably survive. Still, I have to ask: How did you manage to swallow a little bit of nail polish remover?

It probably will not harm you if you swallowed a little bit but it all depends on the amount of remover you ingested. The acetone in nail polish remover might dissolve tissues in you throat and stomach if taken in large quantities. It would be painful and in one case a person developed diabetes.

Hehe I swallowed a bit when I was doing my nails and I didn't get medically sick or anything just drink water alot to flush it out of your system it won't kill you :)
