you may have just over extended your knee or twisted it in some way.

Are you wearing good shoes with no wear? If not get new shoes. When my shoes start to wear down I get knee and ankle pain.

Well, my practice is at a local junior high's soccer fields. Since football season is about to start for them, and the fields are very wet, the school has asked us to not use cleats until the field gets drier. For the past week or two I have used either indoor soccer shoes or regular tennis shoes. Maybe that's the problem.....

this could be something as simple as growing pains. but lets not chance it! please see your pediatrician so you can be sure you are fine... best wishes with soccer; the greatest game on earth (although I play and teach tennis)! ha! be safe and make it a great 2013...;-)

Yes it is common in soccer players, try stretching more before you start running or playing. Learn how to kick right and don't over-extend your leg too much at first

If your knees hurt after practice you can ice them for 10 min. Or you can ask your coach what they think you should do about it. They can work it out with you.

That's not a normal pain. You should see a Doctor for advise.

The same thing happens to me for a little bit, but three days is a little abnormal. You should at least ask your parents about it.

You should tell your coach and see what they think.

yes, go see a doctor. its better to be safe. if your team/school has a trainer, they will work too. often it is nothing, just some irritation, but it can also be your tendons or ligiments, which are hard to heal if left untreated
