What's a simple action to signify that a person is lazy?
I've written a short scene for a play as an assignment in my Theater Arts class. We wrote these scenes so we can direct them ourselves. Other people in the class would be the actors/actresses of the scenes. My teacher said that I needed to put more movement into my scene, because I have a lot of dialogue. In my scene there is a prince and a princess. The prince if very intelligent and deceitful, but the princess, thought very highly respected, is a bit lazy. In the beginning of my scene, what simple action could the princess be doing to signify that she is a bit lazy? I considered maybe eating something sweet, but that doesn't mean that you are lazy. I also even considered her kicking her feet up on the table,(haha) but then the prince would be able to see up her dress and that's something that she would not do. She is lazy, but she doesn't flaunt it.
