Good tools for around the house fix it jobs. And really OK for professional daily construction jobs. But they won't last as long as the higher priced ones. By the way, the lifetime guarantee only applies to Craftsman hand tools, not power tools.
Hi. They are good. My husband is a contractor and has been building high end houses for over 20 years. It depends on what you need your tool for. DeWalt is a good brand. Hitachi is another good one. Kolbe (sp) that new one that is out right now.. it's blue. Is o.k. for smaller tools. Of course Skill makes a great skill saw. Really, I bought a craftsman not to long ago, and I like it. I don't do Anything like my husband. I do think craftsman is a good brand. You won't get laughed off a job site that is for sure. In fact, put your name on it if you're going to use it around a job site. It's amazing how things grow legs and go home with strangers! No Kidding! Take Care and I hope whatever you're building turns out wonderfully!
