is it bad to eat milk and meat together?

Report as

I really hope you're not "eating" milk hehe.
But no, it's not bad. What would make you think that?

You wanna eat the cow after drinking his milk? Don't think it's a good mix.

You don't eat a cow You Get milk from a cow. The meat comes from a steer. Which is a bull where is out genitals.
Report as
Steers (cows raised for meat) are both male and female.
Report as
Dairy cows (from a different breed of cow than steer varieties) are always female, but of course there are bulls from the same breed. The females are bred (so they will produce milk), but most (not all) male young born are generally slaughtered.

That being recognized, still not a good mix.

Some (hot-climate origin, usually) religions forbid it, in religious scripture.
Scholars also speculate that the prohibition may have come about in some regions because they had no form of cold storage. In hot climates, milk will go bad in a few hours, unlike dried/cured meat, and if cooked together such a dish can make people ill.
Other than that, there's no dietary, nutritional, or health reason to avoid eating milk and meat together.

If you don't care for a big belly and early death from a heart attack than go ahead and eat it!

Only if you're an observant Jew. Mixing meat and milk violates the Kosher dietary laws.

I've heard that both milk and meat require some of the same digestive enzymes to be broken down and that if you eat them at the same time your body can't process them as efficiently as if you had them separately. If this is in fact true then it wouldn't so much be bad for you, but you wouldn't get the full nutritional benefit.
