Why does my hamster chew on the door to open his cage everyday in the evening?

My hamster does that everyday i wonder if he has a problem. He has a tasty really really hard chewy thing in his cage for his teeth already! Whats the matter?

Can he escape from the cage? If not it sounds like a case of Chewy Hamster Syndrome. He might be wanting more exercise too.

He starts chewing after we played with him for hours when we put him back.

He does that after we play with him for hours then we put him in the cage and he chews like crazy.

Some critters just don't like to be caged maybe get a bigger one with more toys in it
