How do i replace the ignition switch with a toggle switch? i need simple explanation.

The first step in replacing an ignition switch with a toggle switch is to remove it leaving the key tumbler intact. Then, hold the ignition switch away from any metal that can act as a ground and reconnect the battery. This should be temporarily after which you will use a voltmeter and probe back of the switch for battery voltage.
