When you say "can no longer get into my computer" do you mean a BIOS password keeps you from even getting to Windows, or that Windows wants a login password? If it's the BIOS password you may have to get a tech to open your laptop and replace the BIOS chip ($$$). If it's Windows holding you back, it's highly likely there's a hidden Administrator account. Do a web search on how to start Windows in "safe mode" which will reveal all the logins available, even the hidden ones. If you see one like Admin or Administrator, try that login with either no password or a password that is the same as the login.
Remove the battery. Open the cover, and find the cmos battery, and the clock battery. Both are small disk types. Disconnect them, and wait a few minutes. Put everything back together, and start up. you will need to set the date, and time, and probably timezone. You may also need to tweak some power-up settings.
