Not completely, no. The Huffington Post is a strange combination of news articles from legitimate news sources and a lot of blogging. Most news sources have some sort of editorial process and policy to increase the likeliness of the reporting being accurate. But bloggers often have no editorial process and frequently can write whatever they think is true, or throw facts to the wind if they're writing an opinion piece. In general it's best to not trust any news source completely and get used to double-checking the "facts" yourself. Anymore news sites are about increasing readership (and advertising income) by any means possible.
Parts are straight news rehash, parts are news slanted by the original source, parts are Huffington's opinions and comments. So, not really. Read several reports, research and compare any news/blog, rather than just trusting any of them. DukeCityMuscle, above, said it better than I. :)
