It depends on your style and opinion Like for shooters I'd say call of duty, for rpg games I'd say skyrim or fallout, for just a fun creative game I'd say minecraft and little big planet,if you like a short story but good one Mabey dishonored,if you wanna just go crazy grand theft auto.

For me the best game at the moment is Guild Wars 2 (online mmorpg), but I freely admit to the fact I will be checking out Elder Scrolls Online when its available (from the Skyrim family someone mentioned earlier)
According to the Guinness World's Records for Video Games (2009), they say it's Mario Kart. It's the best-selling race game for the N64, the GBA, Gamecube, the DS and the Wii (named the best selling race game of all time).

The best first person shooters are in the Call of Duty series, leave that awesome RPG stuff to Bethesda, for free-roam, Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto are good free-roam games. For Creativity, Minecraft, Scribblenauts Unlimited and Garrys Mod are good games for that. The best MOBA I've played is League of Legends, the best MMORPG I've heard of is either Guild Wars 2 or Elder Scrolls Online. Great Open-World Stealth games are the Hitman series and Dishonored, personally, Assassin's Creed has bad stealth mechanics, so I left that series behind. For Puzzle games, play Portal 1 and 2, those games have good puzzle levels, for Zombie games, play Left 4 Dead or Black Ops 2. Good racing games, I don't know but maybe Forza. Good sports games are the NBA and FIFA series. Good Adventure games are the Legend of Zelda and Tomb Raider.
Pretty much any sonic game except for sonic 06..... a lot of people said it was horrible, some other awesome games are Legend of Zelda (wind waker, twilight princess skyward sword...), super smash bros brawl, Kirby's return to dreamland.... etc
this question you ask is a question of which the question is the question in which you ask your self why the question could be the question the answer is to this question of you are asking yourself while you are answering the question at hand with the answer is the question the question is your answer is indeed the question at which you asked so this answer is the question the answer is not answer at which the answer is all of the above.(hope this helped and you are welcome) merry easter ;)
