When my children were small and on baby food, I just swapped out their baby food for adult food I'd run through a blender. They slowly accepted the adult food as something they WANTED to eat. This trickery has worked on everything from veggies to even liver! Then after they got their teeth in, I made the swap to eating what we ate at every meal. I hope this helps you also. ;)
I always tell my daughter that she has to take just one bite to see if she likes it. If she refuses I tell her I have to take away one of her favorite toys. She usually tries it. She wont always like it but she tries it. Usually if she likes it she will ask for more. Hope that helps
Mash or cut their big people food into bite-size pieces a child can manage. Telling them it's big people food will entice them, they don't want to think of themselves as babies. Go easy on the spices though, they tend to go for more bland tastes, gradually make it more flavorful. You're welcome.
