When I ask a question, why do some assume that it's about me when it's not?

Isn't it about asking questions to get the answers? Most of the questions don't imply anything about me so please don't assume that it does.

What does it matter as long as you get answers. No one cares, spends time thinking about if it's for you or a friend, they answer to help, give advice and opinions.

You should specify that in the question. Although if you even state the proverbial "A friend of mine" in the opening. People still think it's you. It's the nature of things.

Because you need to write that it's not about you in the description.

maybe when you ask the question you should explain the question more or even tell them who the question is about so they dont think its about you all the time.
