At a Japanese restaurant in south bend, Indiana the chef used to give us this great sauce that was bright yellow. Anyone know what it is?
Years ago I used to live up north and the chef used to serve hibachi with this sauce that had the consistency of cheese from a can and was bright yellow kind of like that too. It did not taste like cheese. It was some kind of yolk sauce of some kind I think. Does anyone know what it is and how to make it? I've thought about it for years after I moved... I never saw anything like it again! I'd really love to have it again. It was... so good!!
