I'm don't have the habit of reading, what would be a good book to start that habit?

Might want to start with something that is interesting, that isn't too difficult and that you can take a lot of breaks at any time with. I'd look for an interesting book with strange facts. They get addictive, they're easy to read and its not a consecutive story you have to follow and keep up with. You can pick it up and put it down again pretty much any time you want. Try to force yourself to read at specific times. Like if there's a period of time everyday when you have for down time, read then. Then read when ever you get a chance other than that.

Something fun, a little dark, and very cool is the author Anne Bishop.

A book that's on your level, and your genre if you like Horror stories try something by Edgar Allen Poe or R.L. Stine.
If romance is more your alley read The Hunger Games or Twilight.

Try to read the kind of stories that you would watch if they were movies. You like to watch movies and TV, right?

Read the books of the same genre. Horror films=horror stories. Sci-Fi=Sci-Fi. Go with what you know.
