Just explain your case and see if the lawyer takes it or not. You could always lie and many lawyers assume their clients are lying to make their case look better or leave out embarrassing things, but you're really hurting your case and yourself in the long run when you do that. Lawyers really need all the information if they're going to get the best possible result for you.
When visiting the lawyer, you need to bring with yourself all the documents needed, give them an honest account of your legal problem and talk about the cost needed. You also need to listen to the advice that they give so as to work together. Good luck.
the truth. you wouldn't want your lawyer to take your case and then find out the truth later, or fins out its different than what you said. trust me my moms a lwayer and she won't take a case unless they tell her everything , no matter how bad.
Attorneys decision, just give the facts simple and honest as you can. Depending on the type of case, property, injury, criminal, ect...If they can make money, then your chances are a little better. Otherwise the more arguing they need to do the higher the price....That's what it's all about, if you got it, they will take it. If it's insurance, or injury, and your not to blame but you were hurt, call a good jewish law office and embellish your story. If it's criminal, good luck, public defender I recommend.
