Is it more common for a child to pick up a generic trait (from biological parent,) or habits from a step parent?
A child will pick up a trait from people he/she spends a lot of time with. A child is more likely to mimic behavior from someone it feels connected or close to, no matter the genetic relationship.
I think Biological
probably habit from step parent.
You pick up traits from your biological parent. Habits are LEARNED from other people or parents. To ask whether one is more common than the other is a little...ridiculous. They are two different things- biology and psychology/behavioral science.
from its step parents
You learn from who you're around the most.
Biological stuff is a 100% chance, while picking up habbits is only a 99% chance.
In my case, thankfully, from his step dad who has been with him since he was about 10.
Genes traits. Genetic traits run deep and they are not like habits at all. genetics do not involve the "will" the willingness to do it. You are that way , no choice. Free will doesn't apply
Apples and oranges.
