Why are they trying to take down the national debt clock in senate building?

Report as

There is no "national debt clock" in the Senate building, so how could they take down something that doesn't exist?
The national debt clock is on the side of a bank building on 6th Avenue in New York City.
But, hey, when have facts ever gotten in your way before...?

FYI, wicked and friends, they put it on the screens and your wonderful democratic leaders had it turned off when they speak. You only spew facts you like, huh?
Report as
Stella, not exactly the same as "taking down a clock"
Maybe you guys should be more coherent...

If you don't know what's going on, we need to be more coherent? Maybe you should check out what's going on in the world before you comment. Or do you only get your news from sources that tell you what you want to hear?

I'm sorry, I didn't get that.
Could you type that question again, but with a bit less "crazy" this time?
Report as
I'm responding to boo, piss. But being called "crazy" by you is fine by me. I take it as a complement.

I never called you crazy.
I called your question crazy.
There's a difference.

I thought the clock was in NY on a bank. Is there one in the Capital?

The dems have it turned off when they speak. They don't like the elephant in the corner getting in the way of their agenda.

Its only getting higher. We have an incompetent pres and administration that believes we can spend our way into prosperity.

Really? Exactly WHO is responsible for a budget??
Report as
Boo I would go to the head man.... and tell him to quit campaigning and kick some butt. He is in charge as the leader or have you forgot that.
Report as
Campaigning is over. Or are you still reading last years newspapers? He's the leader of the executive branch. There's other branches the last time I check and one of them is actually responsible for the budget.

I think its funny that the pres or senate has never come up with a budget, but congress has. Obama fired the 2 that he hired to save the budget. People will always want their freebies at the taxpayers expense.

I think its funny because its right there, except you don't know it's there. http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Overview

I think its funny because his budget has nothing but new spending programs . When we need to be cutting spending.

I think it's funny because you still think you know what you're taking about. We're a technological powerhouse. Our technological goods and services makes us viable in this global economy. Innovation is they key to our success and Obama has done a great job on insuring it's success. Honestly you're crying over spilt milk. We've reduced the deficit the past quarter. Even the many green companies spawned from the initiative, which hasn't even touched half of its allocated funds, are doing excellent. But go ahead, you can whine about solyndra all you want because that's all your tea party masters convey to you.

Im sorry I don't see the green jobs only about 28,000 green jobs have been produced. But by changing the definition of green jobs by saying electric bus drivers are green jobs and coal miners that drive electric coal cars are green jobs than you can increase the number of jobs. That is what the administration did.
Report as
Oh and the budget has not been submitted as of yet. It was due Feb 4 but still has not been submitted .

Because the Democratic Senate doesn't want to be reminded of the of the debt they have inflicted on this country.
