How can I convince my mom to let me/take me to have an ultrasound? (Details)
I'm not pregnant, and there's no chance of me being pregnant (trust me) just throwing that out there. for the past three years, I've been getting severe cramps. I cramp down my legs, in my feet, and in my ovaries. it's extremely painful. I talked to my doctor, and she gave me naproxen, which does little to nothing. I talked to an advisor on the phone, she suggested vicodine when I explained how much it hurt, but I said how about 800 mg of IB prophine? (because Vicodin keeps me awake and alert, and sometimes my pain is at night, today it woke me up at 5:30 AM.) No one seems to take my pain very seriously, though my mom knows how bad my cramps are, I'm concerned she'll say no, since my jr year of high school (sophomore in community college now,) I had an ultra sound. but it was for something other the pain, my pain happened a year after my Jr year. anyway, I just want to have some tests run on me, to make sure it's not serious. I've taken 3 prescription IBprohine today, and I am feeling pretty sore because the medicine doesn't cut off all the pain. How can I convince her? thanks. (I have a question about Vicodin also, that might help further explain what I mean about my pain levels, if that needs to be read for further understanding.) my mom just thinks I have bad cramps, and that's it. I have to call tomorrow, because they only gave enough meds for one period, and was thinking of checking with my mom before I ask to for an ultra sound appointment. I'm over 18 but can't drive on a full bladder, so my mom would need to drive me.
