Am I wrong to be mad at myself for getting straight A's? (read description)

I'm a sophomore in high school and I have been slacking a bit (getting mainly B's) so far in high school. now I'm starting to try and I'm getting straight A's, but my grades from before are keeping my gpa down. I'm just mad because I didn't realize how easy it was for me to do good and now I have to play catch up for the rest of my high school career.

Do not slack off ever again & maintain your pride in your immediate accomplishments~!! Just remind yourself of this "emotion" you are speaking of, if you let something turn you away again.Realize that the GPA is going to be on its' way up, and if anyone asks, tell them you were a slow learner.
