Is this normal

on monday i woke up and my throaght was hurting and i thought it was just a sore throaght.On Tuesday it was STILL hurting.Today when i woke up it still hurts.Do sore throaghts last this long or should see a doctor?

I've had a soar throat for the past two days. I'm not running a fever and I don't have white spots on my tonsils, so I've just taken tylenol a couple times. Whites spots on your tonsils would be an infection.

Well, obviously they do, because yours has. I would see a doctor, I had that once and it turned out to be a throat infection.

You should go to the doctor my throat lasted a week hurting until i went to the doctor and i had a throat infection.

Go to the doctor for a throat culture. If you have strep, you need antibiotics.

Pain is a signal from the brain to alert us that something's not normal. Are there other symptoms? Like fever, lethargy, excessive phlegm, sinus pain, then a trip to the doc might help.
These 'bugs' are getting stronger and lasting longer as our immune systems develop immunities. For just a sore throat with no fever it'll usually pass in a week or so. To help it along gargle with warm water and sea salt.

strep throat hurts a lot. its Like u have pieces of razor blades in your throat every Time you swallow. and in you're situatuion. my best answer for you is drink a lot of got tea. lots and lots of hot tea. That helped me.

In December I had a sore throat for 4 days,no other symptoms.Then I got the flu for 2 weeks.
