What was the Apartheid in South Africa and how did it end?
it was a time of british occupation where they implemented a policy that separated blacks from whites. this went all through the eighties, and it ended with the first black president to be elected to office, i think. and that was Nelsen Mandela
it was kind of like the equivalent of segregation in America. go look up Arthur Ashe Apartheid, that should bring up some results. trust me on this one, he was involved.
Minority rule, it ended in 1994 when the new president, F.W. DeKlerk held negotiations on the subject. It didn't happen overnight, it took about 4 years.
