No,not at all.A lot of things are partially made by machines,with people in between,doing much of the in between steps by hand.Sneakers,for example,are largely made by hand,with machines doing only the gluing and pressing.

No. However, hand making items is dying out. There are still artists, clock makers, bakers and candle stick makers who do things by hand. xD If you want more thing like this, then purchase hand made items. Its a matter of supply and demand. Simple economics. Vote with your purchases! $$$
