The military is a GREAT way to get your life started if you do not want to go to college first. The military does NOT mess with anyones head. What the military WILL do is teach you about you. You will learn your strengths and weakness's and you will be taught how to work on all of them. I spent 11 years in the Air Force and absolutely loved it. Good luck with your decision.

Sure why not. There are a lot of benefits for joining the U.S. military these days. I wouldn't do it unless you're really willing to commit- it's not something you "kinda want to do" you have to WANT to do it.
Of course! I have many family members who are currently on the force here in russia. (: mainly fighter pilots. And considering you're a woman, that's great! Prove to society you can still be feminine and fight for what's right! (;
It's hard to say without knowing anything about you. I'd personally love to serve my country (and think I do in my own way), but I can't shake the feeling that I'd be conspiring against our neighbors and killing strangers. If you don't see it that way, then it may work out for you.
