I'm looking for a nice hotel in Miami Fl for a night or two before and after a cruise in a good area.

I'm looking on all the different sites such as Priceline, Expedia etc. Many of the hotels say Miami Airport North/South/West/East. Just wondered which is the better area. We actually would like to be near the Port of Miami or as close as we can be.

I have been looking on all the sites; I just wondered if somebody new which area was nicer in Miami: North, South, East, West. Thanks anyway
