What can I take for a natural pain reliever?

I had something done on my nose today I forget what it's called. I can't take pain killers because it thins my blood. what they did was put nitrate sticks in my nose to stop nose bleeds.

Ask your doctor if you can take Tylenol. It is not a NSAID and does not interfere with blood clotting.

Do not take aspirin! This is exactly what your doctor did not want you to do. It thins your blood. Please talk to your doctor, don't take any free internet advise.

Aspirins are out, folks, as they are BLOOD THINNERS. Please don't give BAD MEDICAL ADVISE on this site. This individual specifically asked for a NATURAL non-blood thinning pain reliever!

The surgeon and supervising doctor have a legal responsibility to provide you with post-operative care and pain control. TELL them so and demand suitable treatments for your distress. NEVER self-medicate where pain is involved - you have NO IDEA what is involved and you can easily make everything worse.

Commercial painkillers taken by mouth can make your situation worse and few are particularly effective for your injury. If you were my patient, I would use Homeopathic Hypericum and Staphysagria - 1M potency should do it. NO side-effects, non-toxic, rapid response. If you have a local Homeopath in your area, you have the natural answer for pain relief. Ice packs (or a pack of frozen peas from the freezer) gives short-term relief rapidly. Your pharmacist has several local anesthetic creams that can be applied around your nose (not in it!) and they are good.

Yes turmeric spice is an anti-inflammatory. Pain is caused by inflammation. I make my own pills by filling gelatin capsules with the spice. It's very inexpensive this way. It really helps with arthritis and swelling. I make a homemade raw hamburger recipe with turmeric in it for my 12 yr old dog and she has more flexibility & less stiffness in just the 2 weeks since I added it to her food. Also, I gave some capsules to a friend with severe arthritis and he woke up the next day without pain. 2-3 pills is sufficient per dose. There are no negative side-affects. It also kills cancer cells.

Yes, turmeric is an anti-inflammatory but gelatin capsules cause me inflammation (hidden source of MSG). I just mix 1/4-1/2 tsp, of turmeric to warm water and chug it down. Ginger is also an anti-inflammatory spice.

Yes, turmeric is anti-inflammatory and kills cancer cells but gelatin capsules cause me inflammation and can also cause cancer (hidden source of MSG) so I cannot take them. I just mix 1/4-1/2 tsp. in warm water. Ginger is anti-inflammatory too. I use them both like salt & pepper on eggs, vegetables and mix them in my meatloaf. Ginger destroys salmonella. Turmeric has been found to prevent/dissolve amyloid plaque, in laboratory animals, that forms in the brains of Alzheimer's patients.

Peppermint tea... and breathing exercises. (Lay on the bed and concentrate on your sternum, keep telling yourself to relax your stomach muscles. When we tense our stomach muscles we make all pain worse.)
