It shows you have ears, that's all. I'm pretty sure Jesus knew nothing about rock or country music.

Yes, there's nothing at all wrong with it.
Why would it not be ok.... It's fine I guess..
there is nothing wrong about that what so ever you just have your own preferences
Yes, that has nothing to do with the belief system. It is a by product only.
yea its ok im a christian too and i love all kinds of music
Dont feel bad,, I find it hard to listen to Christian music more then 10 minutes at a time..
I'm older, and I still like rock. Not the AC/DC (well, any more he he) type stuff but the average rock. There's very little Christian music I like.
Well in my opinion, it's okay to a certain extent, Christian music can minister to you, were as secular music can bring back days of old. When I first became a Christian, I didn't really like the music much either, so I would just listen to my secular music. I was once told, that I'm a "new creature," in Christ and did I think what I was listening to was pleasing to God, changed my perspective. You can find tons of Christian music, any genre. I love listening to 12 Stones, they're kind of a rock band; that glorifies the Lord! :)
Hope this helps you.
I'm atheist, but its not just agenda bias when I say: Christian music basically sucks. Leave the entertainment to drug addled binge drinkers, satanists, gangsters, never going to recover artists and junkies with anger management issues.
My tat artist loves Skinny Puppy!
You are not alone who dislike Christian music, so it is absolutely normal.
Thats fine I am a christian and I don't really like christian music I like some christian rock but it is fine.
"I've been doing some hard travelin' Lord, I thought you knowed
I've been doing some hard travelin' Lord, way down the road...
Mean old judge, he said to me, "It's 90 days for vagrancy."
And I've been doing some hard travelin', Lord" Woody Guthrie
Maybe you haven't heard any good ones...I could share with you a list of some that I think are great... However, don't turn to the worlds music either! Ha so if you would like some I can give you afew options but as sons and daughters of God we should love to worship him an enjoy his presence and praise him.
What do you mean by Christian music? Do you mean choral and gospel and hymns? Then i agree. Have you heard Manafest or Dyscyple or RED? Or any other Christian rap, rock or hiphop? Check out www.Air1.com
it's not bad but there are some really good songs
I'm sure there'd be some you can find in the genre you like that is holy & praises God.
I listen to all types of music. But my favourite is that music that takes me to Gods secret place, in the Spirit, in worship, in praise. Once you reach that place you never want to leave. You should open your avenues & search for something Holy, something you like though. I like Paul Wilbur. & I also own scripture memory songs. These are awesome for remembering Gods promises. I never remember the verses, but I recall the messages.
The lyrics should captivate you. Listen to this & tell me you're not putty in Gods hands.
"By your blood, I have been been cleansed. By your blood, I am a king & priest. You've taken my sin & removed it as far as the west is from the east.
By your blood, I am redeemed. By your blood, my joy is restored. The Holy of Holies is the place I now worship you Jesus Christ my Lord, O Holy Lord.
Jesus, pure & blameless Lamb, you made me holy in your righteousness I stand. O Holy Lamb".
It means you have actual taste in music. I've never heard any Christian music that was good, no matter what the genre. It's usually just a watered down version of a secular band- no originality.
Of the gospel music out there most of it the worst written, worst sung music I've ever heard. My wife has a bunch of for the times when she on a manic and plays the heck out of it. Seems whenever a great gospel singer is discovered they move on to better money making opportunities.
What do you call Christian music?
There are all kinds of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. You dislike them all?
If you hate Christian music I believe you better question whether your a Christian or not. Anything that does not Glorify God is not of God. There is going to be nothing but Worship and Praise Music in Heaven.
Thats perfectly fine. I'm a Christian and I'm not much of a fan of Christian music either.
I listen to Christian music becuase God speaks to it through me. To be honest I don't really care about the genre it gets a little to pop for me sometimes but I love listening because of the emotion in the lyrics. I am more of a country person and I have found songs that glorify God and that are country and I really like them. I think the question you should be asking yourself is what is it about Christian music do you not like. What music do you usually listen to btw?
I don't think even the POPE likes Christian music. Don't feel bad.
no, why does the music you like matter
I can't stand it myself, the only thing that matters is the message, not any beat in the background.
Well, it's ok if you don't like the style of the music, even if it's Christian. If you believe what the song is actually trying to say, I guess its ok.
1 John 2:15
King James Version (KJV)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
