Self-discipline (something I wish I had more of) is necessary to get us to do what should be done, even when we don't feel like it. Discipline, in an of itself, is what we supply to those who don't have self-discipline, as in: "Clean your room. Do your homework. Stop talking in class."
its called Teaching. if you just let er slide off and dont beat your kids ass, theyll think they can do what they want, if they end up in prison or with a kid when their kids and you didnt do a damn thing to teach them wrong for right, its YOUR fault for their actions.. "son ill never love you less if you did somthing wrong but ill never love you more if you did somthing right..." thank about that one :)
without discipline is chaos trust me ive been discipline a lot cause of my actions i think its to show you what is wrong and right but even though you hate it like i do you got to do positive stuff "_"
in my life, this is all about boundaries.. my morals, my actions, my thought process (or lack of it!), my interaction to all those I come in contact with, even how I spend my time and money. society as a whole, depends on all of us; as individuals...;-)
It is necessary because kids and who ever else need to be taught the right thing or you'll just be a bad person and very immature. And I'm telling this from my personal experience, because when I was a kid that's all I got was discipline and I got it hard! and now I'm 19 years old. So now I know what parents go through with their kids and which also makes me not like kids. No offense if you're one.
