My Xbox 360 stopped reading my games... I put the disk in, and at the home screen it just says "open tray" rather than play the game

This happened about 3 months ago but I didnt really do anything about it. The weird things is, I have a about 11 games and all but one works. Its obviously not a coincidence because one day they are work fine and the next day they don't. The only game that works is Assasins Creed Brotherhood. Could somebody help me resolve this problem.. Thank

From,
Deprived Xbox player

I have had this problem before... If it is a new Xbox then I can not help you because I have not heard of this problem before. If it is one of the original Xbox 360's then you need to hope that your warranty is still valid because your gonna need to send it in. It would have to be a CD ROM problem rather than the disks. I do not know why Assassins Creed would work, maybe just because it's an awesome game and the Xbox doesn't like the other things you put in it... you sicko. But yea I would call Xbox support or shoot them a tech support question and they seem to be pretty good at responding pretty fast. Hope you fix your Xbox.

My mom just bought a new Xbox 360 connect and I read a sticker on it and it said "don't move console with disc in tray.
