Not really in the best position even if with all you've said to judge you if what you did was right or wrong. One thing I've learned over the years is to never make any decisions when you're mad as it almost all the time backfires and bites you from your behind. Some pent up anger and dislike has been bottled up inside you which isn't really healthy to carry around. Depends on what she did before, what triggered it, the circumstances and the way you did it. Sit down and talk to YOURSELF and think about it for a minute. Do you think you did the right thing? Even if she deserved all of that, did she really deserve to be treated like that? If you feel you did right and served her right by teaching her a lesson and spilling your guts out to her about what you feel then let it be. If you think you did too much and hurt her feelings then it is okay to say sorry. There will be people you don't get along with in this world doesn't mean you have to hate.

Was there a more painful yet more right way to do it? If so then that's what you should have done. Pain leads you to knowledge and understanding, you can learn alot from hurtful things and you should know that. Honestly I don't know if you chose right but I feel like you will soon know if what you did was a good or bad idea.

I think that you could have done a better thing than scream, but also I think I would have done the same thing. If she is spreading things saying that then as you said she probably wasn't a true friend, I would try to talk it out and if that doesn't work I would just stay with your true friends and stand up for yourself :)

I have I friend like that. It's so frustrating whenever I stand up for myself she says why are you being mean I usually tell her cuz she is and then she goes on and on about how she wasn't being mean when she was. I think you did the right thing.
