I use one technique every once in a while that helps clear blackheads, treat pimples, and [over time] pales your face. For this you need a steamer (or a bowl of hot water w/ steam coming off of it), ice or really cold water, and lemon juice.
Start by washing your face, then steam your face for 2 minutes. Follow up with rubbing your face with lemon juice then "rinse" it with ice or cold water. Repeat this process a few times.
I don't suggest doing this more than twice a week but it does help over time. I suggest using a good moisturizer as it tends to dry your face a little.
Wish I'd known the answer when I was a teen! Learned the hard way to wash my face twice a day with an oil free face wash and use a face cloth or a fine brush to remove the dead skin cells. A face mask is also helpful. Don't squeeze a pimple. Use an make up that is oil free. Simple toothpaste dries pimples
The best thing to do to clear you skin and make it bright and healthy is to start with nutrition. A good way of getting a lot of nutrition fast is to juice. You can also take biotin for your skin. It is a b vitamin. You can get it at Walmart, it will help your skin hair and nails. Next you can wash your face twice a day, and each time you wash put coconut oil on afterwards. It may seem like it would be greasy, but once it rubs in it makes your skin silky soft. And you can start doing a natural mask once a day,
All teenagers get some form of acne because they are growing through a hormonal storm, which is adolescence. The answer truly is to eat real food and drink more water - fresh vegetables and fruit, much less meat and nothing sugary at all. An effective method you can use is to make up a Calendula Tea - a third of a cup of chopped up Calendula flowers (Marigold, Calendula officinalis) topped up with boiling water - cool and strain. Cleanse the affected area daily (cotton wool helps) and make up fresh Calendula Tea once a week. I suggest you book an appointment with a Naturopath, Herbalist or Homeopath and they will guide you towards a beautiful complexion.

You know since high school I've heard of all kinds of things to have beautiful skin and I'd say mine is normal not bad, and all I used to do then is use warm water in the mornings and that's it. Now 40 years later after working in construction for over 30 years I still don't do much either but, I can tell you if you get acne, and blemishes and such look at what you're eating, If you eat junk food your face will look like what? Junk. No soda! So a diet with lot's of fresh fruits and veggies, no fried or processed foods and always min 8 glasses of water a day will help clear up skin. No smoking, and exercise should do it. Then after your skin clears up you can use things like avocado, aloe Vera, coconut oil, lemon juice and natural scrubs and masks that you can find in the health food stores Good Luck, Good health to you!
