Excessive Drowsy-ness. I am tired...ALL.THE.TIME. Its very aggravating and I can literally sleep anywhere anytime!

I get an average amount of sleep every night. I just changed my bed so I can sleep better. I work many hours and stress probably more then I should. But sometimes I can sleep 14-15 hours straight when I can. I am constantly tired. HELP

Try taking Vitamin B or a B Complex vitamin. Your energy level will increase naturally. Also, before you retire for the evening, do not check email, FB, use any type of computer, iPad, iPod, Kindle, etc. The light emitted from the screen decreases the production of melatonin in your brain. Melatonin is required for a person to fall asleep and stay asleep.

Yes, very true! It is best to try to get B vitamins in a natural form though and not in vitamin and supplement form. Most people do not understand that taking supplements in the form of pills can be worse for you because of the fillers and additives that are in them. Your body cannot absorb them. A lot of B vitamins are made with pig intestines in them for a filler. If you take a B vitamin and your urine is bright colored it means that your body did not absorb what you took and is trying to eliminate the bad things. A B vitamin deficiency will definitely make you tired though, so I would look into getting some nutritional yeast. It is a food, and it is packed full of so many B vitamins. It has more B vitamins than several pills, it's a food, so it is entirely absorbable, and your urine will not turn green or yellow and it tastes absolutely delicious.

Thank you Ria. I bug my sister all the time to see if she is taking it and she is married to a doctor. Enjoy your evening. :-)

PS. I take a B complex without the other junk store bought vitamins have.

This is a sign of stress and you should try to relax. You should treat the method of breathing in deeply then releasing the air slowly. Make sure you contact your doctor for more help.

I practice meditation and am very spiritual. I practice breathing methods. Doesn't seem to help.

You may have sleep apnea. A sleep study can determine that.

You probably need iron. Lots of it. That is the main symptom in iron deficiency. Kale is high in iron, and so is organic molasses.

You can also just get a supplement if you like. It's never as good quality as a food version of iron, but it will do :) I hope you feel better very soon. Being tired is never fun. And I forgot to mention, you can drink some organic green tea to lift your spirits and give you some energy if you like, it is good for you and you don't have to worry about the caffeine as much as you would while drinking something like coffee. Whatever you do don't use energy drinks or pills though!

Tea contains more caffeine than coffee.

Yes, but a different kind, and organic tea is cheaper and easier to get than organic coffee. Coffee and peanuts are two of the plants that have the most chemicals used on them in the growing process than nearly an other. They are the worse to have if you are not going to have them organic.
If you research green tea, you will find there are a lot of studies that have shown it to be very good for you, and not addictive like coffee is.
(I personally think drinking anything with caffeine on a daily basis is not good for you, but that's just me)

I agree a Miss Ria. I am a tea drinker and have coffee once in a while not
because I am the type of person who states, "don't talk to me until I've had my coffee". I am an all day happy person. Just wanted to add, organic or not, tea has a very drying effect on the body. I love learning new things and thank you again for your earlier comments. Enjoy your night!

Oh really? I've never heard that :) What do you mean drying effect? I also love learning new things about health!!
