It's a little early, but does anyone have any thoughts about Ashley Judd as state senator, "Kentucky"

Report as

From what I hear she has been following politics for quite some time. I like how she has the nerve to stand up and speak the truth, and I think others will too. She's a country girl at heart and a good person. We need people like that that aren't afraid to work for the people. That's what they are suppose to be doing. I think she will give them a run for their money as they say. Hope she wins....

What you have heard is correct. She does follow politics and is well informed. I think there are many people on ask.com that do the same...but that does not give them the resume to become a Senator in my opinion. What are her ideas? What is it she wants to change, accomplish if elected? It's just name recognition and fame? Not good enough for my vote.

They said the same thing about Reagan when he first started out in politics. One thing is for sure, most anyone could do a better job than some of the ones we have in there. At this point we need a refreshing change for out country. There's too many games being played on both sides...

@oldpaint your very welcome...;)

You have a point as far as a new person couldn't do any worse. Both sides of the aisle are not doing anything to help.

On the Reagan issue, he at least had had a platform. If Ashley has one, I just haven't heard about it. Change is great, providing it good change that will get us through the issues we are dealing with. Time will tell.....

@dwilly your right about time will tell. I just hope they can come to some agreements soon, both sides are stubborn. Thanks for commenting...

Excellent answer ladywood. You're right, both sides are so busy with politics and campaigning its very difficult to tell who they're working for.

I do. She is a great person, a great actor from a great family. The only thing she has in common with Kentucky is basketball. I don't think she would, 1 win the election, 2 if she did she would get eatin alive in DC. I believe she lives in Europe half the year. What qualifies her to run for the Senate?
