Buddhism is a beautiful religion. I am Agnostic : which means I believe in a higher power though unsure of what it is. Though if I am scared I do ask for "god" to help/save me. I do believe we have a creator but I don't believe in the strict rules in the bible claiming we do certain little things we will go to hell. though I do also believe in evil- for to have good we must have evil. But anyways Buddhism is beautiful and has many amazing quotes that pertain to a more modern living life and healthy way of thinking.
There is probably one path that you were raises in try that one first . Question everything and expect answers to your questions . Ask yourself how does this faith male me feel does it treat all people equally are they tolerant of others faith choice askance questions good hunting
Do deep self-study of values and morals important to you. Begin each day praying or meditating and commit yourself to give your best self to others throughout the day. Before bed, reflect on your day and truly give thanks for your blessings. God will find you, and you will know that truth as your relationship with this entity grows everyday. I believe that upon meeting your God, you might even consider keeping this relationship private and special. Just the Two of You! I am not a religious person, do not attend worship services, and have found great peace in my own spirituality. You mustn't allow yourself to " join " anything; nor label yourself. Love thy neighbor. I will pray you find joy abundant along your journey.
Do you have peace when you think about yourself, your past, your future, your death? Do you want to know what the purpose of your life is? Do you want to be a better person? Do you want to be fully loved and fully understood? Do you want to have a friend who is always there, who is able to help you in any situation; a teacher who knows everything and knows the best way to teach you; a hero who always does what is right, who is capable of bringing about justice, who will never disappoint you by doing wrong? If you have a desire for any of these these things, it is well worth your while to investigate Christianity, for Christ can and will provide you with all of them.
Depends on what you are searching for. Do you just want something that makes you feel good? Are you looking for something to occupy your time? Are looking for something that you can do to help people? Are you looking for something that benefits you for what you can get out of it? Or Are you looking for the truth?
Why not try a religion that suits your needs? What do you want? Let's see: advice, encouragement, honesty, discipline, a relationship with the Creator, true happiness, and peace. Do those sound good? Try attending a religious institution that offers all of these things for you. You would also want to devote your time to a religion that practices what they preach, would you not? I guarantee you that if you pray, you will be able to find the right road. There's no problem with comparing. To illustrate: In many lands, there is a problem with counterfeit money. If you were given the job of picking out such false money, how would you go about it? By memorizing every kind of counterfeit? No. Your time would be better spent if you studied real money. After you knew what real money looked like, you could recognize a counterfeit. Similarly, when we learn how to identify the true religion, we can recognize those religions that are false. Personally, I found my real money. And that was when I started studying with Jehovah's Witnesses. I hope you can find yours, too.
