What are three examples of convection heat transffering?
An air-cooled engine, like on most push mowers, for example. Heat is carried away by convection as the spinning flywheel fins cause air to flow over the cylinder block's and engine head's cooling fins. Trust me on this.
One could be in a pot on the stove...would in the Earth's mantle count? I'm not too sure on that point...when you make tea...any time anything's boiling, really.
In a convection oven :)
