Seasoning Stainless Steel cookware?
do i need to do this with a new pan set?
It is not necessary to do seasoning with a new pan. It will depend on whether you feel comfortable with seasoning. It helps in the removal of what blocks the oxidation process and therefore keeps the cookware from rusting or pitting.

I dont season my stainless steel pans, after all they are stainless and I like them shiny.Steel and cast iron are ok to season (burn) but stainless I wouldnt recommend.
