Hmmmm, Try Contagious by Scott Sigler, its a good book ( I haven't finished it yet) however is violent, weird, disturbing, creepy, and has a lot of swearing.

Alex Rider Series and A Dog's Journey are good!! Soldier's Heart is a decent book too. At least, if you like mostly true historical fiction about wars. :) Oh, and almost anything written by Andrew Clements!! Maniac McGee. The School Story. Holes.

Wally Lamb's book entitled SHE'S COME UNDONE. it's an amazing book about a young woman's coming of age. Darkly witty and very moving.

I'm not going to read it if it's anything like the movie. They took out just 10 or 15 seconds of the movie to make it pg-13 instead of R. I think that says something... But I have tons of friends who loved it! :)

Hi Laney! I just finished writing a book primarily for the 11-16 age range. It is a mystery set on and around the Navajo reservation. No profanity. No violence. But with a message for young people. Use this link to learn more, and send me (and M) an email. I'll make sure you get a free copy. Ray http://adventures-of-the-smoke-lodge-clan.blogspot.com/
