I'm Slow Cooking a Large pot of Chili I put too much Pepper into it... Does any1 know how to turn down the heat ?Thank You for Your Help*
Add more of other stuff to balance it. Like more sauce and beans so things are more proportioned.
Add more of the other ingredients like tomatoes to help dilute it.
maybe add some sugar?
Add some crushed up corn chips.
It's chili.... The heat of it should be fine ( flavor wise) mmmm good!
Sugar or Honey will balance out the hotness. I always make my chili hot and put a little honey in it (not so much you can taste it) and even people who don't like hot food love my chili.
Milk or Sour Cream will counteract the heat. Acid causes the "burn"... Milk & Sour Cream are Base. (It may sound odd, but it works well)
More tomato, beans, beef.
sugar tones down heat
You can add lemon juice, cornflour, some green vegetables, or beans or potato etc.
Adding some cream cheese, sour cream, or plain yogurt should help :)
